Mozilla announced on their blog about the latest release of Firefox 4 Beta for mobile. Firefox 4 Beta for Android now available, faster and sleeker. This is good news for Mozilla users. Firefox 4 Mobile Beta  includes support for HTML5, CSS and Javascript, as well as being the first mobile browser to support add ons. It’s built on the same technology platform as Firefox for the desktop and optimized for browsing on a mobile phone. Mozilla says on its blog that Firefox 4 Beta includes Firefox Sync to create a seamless Web browsing experience between desktop and mobile. With Firefox Sync, you can take your browsing history, bookmarks, tabs, passwords and form-fill data with you anywhere so you never have to retype passwords or long URLs again.

Mozilla claims that on Android 2.2, Firefox 4 Beta 2 is 25% faster on the SunSpider Javascript benchmark than the stock browser. The latest Firefox 4 Beta for mobile includes a 60% install size reduction on Android (from around 43 MB to 17 MB), reduces memory usage, and improves text rendering. Panning and zooming are now faster, and page load times have been reduced.
