Google Safe Browsing for Firefox

My last posting I have been writing about “prevent Protect yourself from phishing attacks with OpenDNS“. Now I want tell you about another way to prevent you from phishing attack with Google Safe Browsing. It’s available for firefox user.

Google Safe Browsing is an extension to Firefox that alerts you if a web page that you visit appears to be asking for your personal or financial information under false pretences. Google Safe Browsing is a free and useful extension to Firefox. By combining advanced algorithms with reports about misleading pages from a number of sources, Safe Browsing is often able to automatically warn you when you encounter a page thats trying to trick you into disclosing personal information.

Google’s constantly updated blacklists of suspected phishing and malware pages, Google Safe Browsing can warns users about phishing sites and other malware. When a user visits a suspected phishing site and is warned by Firefox, they are given the option to navigate away from the site or ignore the warning and continue on. Google Safe Browsing are now a part of the Google Toolbar for Firefox. But you can install extension Google Safe Browsing without install google toolbar. It’s easy to install.

    Great headline. If your cookie has a bite-sized action and your reader completes the action, I think two things happen. Their self-confidence goes up (which feels good) and their trust in you increases.

    Well you have nice theme on your site but I will prefer you to download theme from generic wp themes as the site has good wp themes. I hope you don’t mind this suggestion
