Ipad 2, the second generation iPad
Apple finally launch its next-generation iPad, Ipad 2. Ipad 2, the second generation iPad with a faster A5 dual core processor, HD FaceTime camera, redesigned slimmer aluminum shell and Verizon 3G. iOS 4.3 is the operating system for iPad. Ipad 2 is thinner, lighter and dramatically faster than the original. The new iPad will have the same 9.7-inch screen but it will be substantially thinner at 8.8mm thick, compared to the original iPad’s 13.4mm.
It has cameras on the front and back for the first time to allow for video conferencing. The new iPad front-facing camera features VGA quality video at 30 frames per second. FaceTime camera allowing iOS users to video chat over a Wi-Fi connection. iPad 2 Users will be able to video chat with other users on the new iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, and Mac computers.
Apple said the iPad 2 will retain a battery life of up to 10 hours. The graphics are said to be up to nine times faster than in the original iPad. However, the iPad 2 still has no built-in memory card slot or USB port, and no Flash support.
