What is Your Favorite Browser?

July 20th, 2009 admin No comments

We surfing the web, blogging, search, chat, email and collaborate in a browser. You can trying some web browser. Below I will review some browser.

Mozilla Firefox Mozilla

Firefox is a free and open source web browser descended from the Mozilla Application Suite and managed by Mozilla Corporation. The Firefox Web Browser is the faster, more secure, and fully customizable way to surf the web. Firefox features include tabbed browsing, a spell checker, incremental find, live bookmarking, a download manager, private browsing and some add-ons. Firefox offers advanced pop up blocking so you won’t have to see another pop up again. Firefox is recommended for users who switch between Mac and PC, or for users who value its extra features and add-ons. I used Firefox as my primary browser. I like firefox because Firefox has a lot of this stuff available through extensions.

Safari

Safari is a web browser developed by Apple Inc. Apple says Safari is designed to emphasize the browsing, not the browser. The browser frame is a single pixel wide. Safari was the first browser to support HTML 5 audio and video tags. They allow developers to integrate media directly into standard web pages, reducing development time and leading to faster response. I think Safari is to be faster, but lacks the customization and add-ons available with Firefox. If you’ve used the tabs in other browsers, Safari’s tabs may appear to be upside-down and cause some confusion.

Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer is the most common and widely-used Internet browser that developed by Microsoft. Internet Explorer is a web browser packaged with the Windows operating system. Also known as IE. When you first use any Microsoft Operating System, such as XP or Vista, the default web browser is Internet Explorer. Many of people are very used to Internet Explorer as default browser but IE is very slow compared to Safari, and firefox. I remember the first web browser I used was IE but now, I only use IE to verify it renders my websites correctly.

Opera

The opera web browser is the flagship product of Opera Software. Opera is Internet browser innovation. They claim Opera features, speed and security. Opera started in 1994 as a research project inside Norway’s largest telecom company, Telenor. Opera Web browser offers the best internet browsing experience available. Opera looks nice. Opera features includes tabbed browsing, pop-up blocking, integrated searches and advanced functions like Opera’s groundbreaking e-mail program, RSS Newsfeeds and IRC chat. Opera uses less memory but Opera doesn’t work with all sites but has superior synchronization features. For my phone I like use opera mini but not for my pc.

Google Chrome

Google Chrome is Google’s open source browser project. Google says the Google Chrome is a browser that combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier. But Chrome runs incredibly slowly for me. Google Chrome faster than IE8 but slower than Firefox and Safari. The interface in Chrome is very different from other browsers and takes a little getting used to. Dragging tabs in and out of windows is awesome. There are many web browser that not mentioned above. You can choice your favorite browser.
